Membership Terms and Conditions.

PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE JOINING

By completing payment you are confirming that you have read, understood and are agreeing to the terms & conditions and cancellation policies outlined below.Between: You (The Member) and Synergy Coaching.

1.0 GENERAL

1.1 All payments must be made in advance. Memberships will not be confirmed until payment has been received.

1.2 I understand there are inherent risks in participating in a program of strenuous exercise. If I sustain or claim to sustain any injury while participating in the program, I acknowledge that Synergy Personal Training and the coaching team are not responsible.I recognise that there is risk involved in the types of activities offered by Synergy Personal Training. Therefore I accept financial responsibility for any injury that I may cause either to myself or to any other participants due to my negligence. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Synergy Personal Training, their employees and volunteers from liability for the injury or death of any person(s) and damage to property that may result from my negligent or intentional act or omission while participating in activities offered by Synergy Personal Training.

1.3 I will adhere to all instructions given to me by Synergy staff.

1.4 I understand my progress is dependent upon my effort, cooperation, consistency and adherence to the program in its entirety. This includes, following protocols designed for me, and my efforts outside of the program. 

1.5 I understand that operational hours and staff availability are subject to change and will vary from the regular schedule over holiday and Bank Holiday periods.

1.6 I agree to follow the program as directed by the Synergy Team

2.0 MEMBERSHIP DURATION & RENEWAL

2.1 I understand that by completing payment and agreeing this contract I commit myself to minimum term of three consecutive months under the guidance of Synergy Personal Training

(unless otherwise agreed).

2.2 I understand that this contract is in place based on rolling calendar months from the contract start date - this commences when payment is successfully processed.

2.3 I understand that once I go past the minimum term set out above, where applicable

I will automatically enter a rolling monthly contract, where a 30-day notice period is required for cancellation. 

3.0 PAYMENTS

3.1 The Member agrees to pay either monthly recurring fees or blocks of 3, 6, or 12 months as desired (as appropriate for the selected membership) for the duration of their membership to either in-person coaching at Synergy Gym - or digital coaching via Synergy Online via recurring card payment through the Stripe payment system.Note: Regarding in person coaching - this contracted membership allows attendance to a number of group coaching sessions per week at Synergy as determined by the selected membership, unused sessions DO NOT carry over from week to week or billing period to billing period.

3.2 In relation to a rolling monthly payment agreement: I agree to purchase a recurring membership at Synergy as an automatic charge to my credit/debit card every month.

3.2 (b) In relation to a pre-paid blocks of either 3, 6 or 12 months: I agree to purchase a membership at Synergy for the agreed upon duration chosen by myself and agree to charge my credit/debit card. 

3.3 I hereby certify that I am the holder or have permission from the card holder of the credit/debit card detailed when signing up to this contract via Stripe.

3.4 I understand that my service will continue indefinitely unless otherwise requested my myself as per these terms. 

4.0 MEMBERSHIP PAUSES

4.1 Membership Pauses will be considered in certain circumstances where applicable.

4.2 Membership Pauses are limited to 30 days per calendar year. 

4.3 All Membership Pause requests require 30 days notice before the next scheduled payment date - any requests received later cannot be processed until after the next scheduled payment.

4.4 Upon expiration of any pause period, membership payment will automatically reactivate and resume.

4.5 If you choose to cancel your membership during the pause period you must follow the normal cancellation procedure.

5.0 CANCELLATIONS

5.1 Following the initial minimum contracted term (three consecutive months) all membership cancellations are subject to a 30 day notice period - any payments within this 30 day period will be processed as normal and are non-refundable.Note: You will, of course, be able to continue at Synergy for a month after your final payment has gone through.

5.2 Memberships that are paid in full/upfront are non-refundable and non transferrable.

5.3 These terms are NOT flexible so if you don’t intend to adhere to these terms then please DO NOT sign up.

5.4 When committing to any Online Coaching service with Synergy Personal training, customers will have a 14 Day "cooling off period" in which they may cancel their commitment - unless - the coaching process has begun and the customers program has officially started started at which point payments are non refundable and the minimum membership term must be adhered to.

5.5 Regarding the above - Online Programs officially "begin" once customers have filled out and submitted their on-boarding questionnaire and received all the relevant course materials.

6.0 REFUNDS

6.1 All membership payments are not refundable.

6.2 All membership payments are not transferable.

6.3 I understand that if I choose to terminate my place in the programme prematurely, that any payment made will not be refunded.

6.4 Synergy may grant any remaining time as a credit note in my name only, to be used within 6 months.

7.0 AGREEMENT

7.1 Synergy reserves the right to update and amend this policy at any time.

7.2 I understand that by completing payment and taking up membership at Synergy I am entering a contract and agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined above.
